Consultation description
This consultation is seeking comments/views from interested parties, including community groups, local residents, local businesses, and members of the public, on design proposals for a potential public realm improvements known as the Clifton Gateway Project. It follows the route of Donegall Street beginning at its junction with York Street, continuing along Clifton Street to the Crumlin Road and ending at the Agnes Street junction.
The project will deliver a world class public realm improvement scheme that will include improvements to;
- surfacing
- lighting
- landscaping
- street furniture
An open house event will take place on Thursday 24 January 2019 (10am-8pm) at the Girdwood Community Hub, 10 Girdwood Avenue, Belfast, BT14 6EG.
During the consultation period the design proposals will be on display at the Girdwood Community Hub from Thursday 24 January 2019 to 18 April 2019. Feedback form are available to provide comments on the proposals. The feedback received during this period will be considered in the final design and submitted with the planning application.
The implementation and delivery of the project will be subject to funding, economic appraisal and the availability of public resources.
