The aim of the Covid Recovery Programme for Organisations is to reduce or remove operating deficits, which have arisen in the 2021/22 financial year because of the pandemic. Operating deficits, which are unrelated to COVID, will not be eligible.
The Covid Recovery Programme for Organisations has been co-designed with seven sectoral bodies who will deliver the scheme and make awards of up to £50,000*.
The programme’s overarching aim is to mitigate the impact of the pandemic on not-for-profit organisations in the culture, arts, languages, heritage, sports, charities and social enterprise sectors.
All organisations across these sectors should consult the delivery partners’ websites and social media platforms for further information on opening dates, closing dates, pre-application information, eligibility and assessment criteria, guidance and application forms.
The seven delivery partners are:
- Arts Council
- NI Screen
- Sport NI
- National Lottery Heritage Fund
- Glor na nGael
- Ulster-Scots Agency
- Community Finance Ireland
A single funding scheme will allow sectoral organisations to apply through the channel that best reflects their primary purpose. Some may fit within more than one primary purpose, but it will be for the applicant organisation to select only one delivery partner.
