Addendum to the Affordable Warmth Scheme Business Case - 2-year extension (2024-2026) - screening

This Addendum seeks to extend the term of the AWS BC by 2 years (from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2026) to ensure that the Scheme continues to deliver the original policy intent of helping those households in the private sector who are experiencing severe fuel poverty. This two-year extension will include one full year of delivery of energy efficiency measures through AWS and one wind down year, where new referrals to the Scheme will cease from approximately September 2025, to allow for the tailing-off of any outstanding commitments.
