The Universal Credit (Transitional Amendment) (Claimants Previously Entitled To a Severe Disability Premium) (Amendment) Regulations - screening

The Department wishes to introduce regulations to ensure that a claimant migrating to UC by either natural migration or managed migration does not receive both Elements at the same time. Consequently a claimant migrating to UC either by natural or managed 3 migration should not be better or worse off than they were on legacy benefit at the point of transition.
