These Regulations will amend the Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Prescribed Diseases) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1986 which provide the legal framework for the industrial injuries disablement benefit (“IIDB”) scheme.

The Licensing and Registration of Clubs (Amendment) Act (Northern Ireland) 2021 (the Act) amends the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 to allow local producers of alcoholic drinks to apply for a liquor licence.
The Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 (the Licensing Order) regulates the retail sale of alcoholic drinks to the public by prescribing the kinds of premises which may be granted a liquor licence by the courts.
The aim of this policy is that the holder of a local producer’s licence must display, at all times, a notice detailing the conditions of the licence held at the point of sale of the alcoholic drink.

The Northern Ireland Homelessness bulletin is a biannual publication which contains information on a range of areas relating to homelessness.
This Statutory Rule will provide for deductions to be made from UC where a fine or compensation order has been imposed upon a person (the offender) by a court to meet the sums due in respect of such fines and compensation orders.
The proposed statutory rule allows earnings factors derived from historic earnings to be restated at current values (i.e. values at tax year 2022/23 determined by reference to Average Weekly Earnings (AWE) for 12 months ending September 2021.

The proposed Statutory Rule is an annual, routine order that makes a technical amendment by setting the value of the Pension Protection Fund levy ceiling. The value of the levy ceiling for 2022/23 is being set at £1,178,605,581.
